Our community consisting of creative and innovative people starts to work on the challenge and submits proposed solutions on our website. When the challenge’s deadline is passed, the company who posted the challenge starts to evaluate the different proposals. The proposal they like best gets an attractive reward.
What is an Innovative Company and an Innovative Customer?
An Innovative Customer is a creative and innovative person that likes to improve, change and make products and services better. The Innovative Customers works on the Innovative Companies’ challenges in order to compete for the challenge award and to see her or his design on a real product or service.
An Innovative Company is a company or organization that needs help to solve a problem. Examples of problems to be solved are: creative design of a logo, website or a product, solve a technical problem, software coding, give feedback and improvement proposals on existing products and designs, etc. The Innovative Company creates a challenge to the Innovative Customers.
What is a Challenge?
A challenge consists of a problem that a company needs help with to solve, some questions they need help to answer and a reward for the winning proposal.

Our first priority is to offer high quality solutions to challenges and high quality challenges to our creative innovative customers. Innovative Companies can also upload a specific challenge agreement which the Innovative Customer must agree to before participating in a challenge. We also encourage all users to report any IP violations to us and we will take appropriate actions.
What is a private challenge?
A private challenge means that all proposals that are submitted to a challenge are confidential to all users except the user submitting challenge. This is used when a company would like to keep the submissions confidential and no voting from the community should be allowed.
What is an public challenge?
A public challenge means that all proposals submitted to a challenge are shown to all users and users can vote and comment on the different proposals.
How can I ask questions about a challenge?
You can continuously comment or ask questions to the Innovative Company on the website. This you do by entering the challenge details and select the comments tab. Only logged in users can comment and ask questions.
How do I submit a solution to a challenge?
When you are a registered and logged in user you view the challenge details and select the tab “Participate now”. Here you upload your solution to the challenge.
What is deadline for submitting a challenge?
The deadline is different from challenge to challenge and can be seen either in the challenge details or the challenge overview.
How is my intellectual property protected?
We understand how important your work is and www.innovativecustomer.com takes precautions to help both buyers and sellers. Only registered users can see the proposed solutions and challenge details to a challenge. All users are required to accept our terms of use where a confidentiality agreement is included. Innovative Companies can choose to have the challenge as private meaning that only the Innovative Company can see the proposed solutions to the projects. If the challenge is an Open challenge the users agrees that all proposals are available to be reviewed, voted on and commented on from other registered users.
How do I transfer my intellectual property rights to the solution?
If the Innovative Company selects your solution and the transfer of IP rights is a requirement of the Challenge, you must transfer your IP rights to the solution before receiving a financial award. To transfer your IP rights, you must sign a document, provided by the Innovative Company, stating that you own the intellectual property and have the ability to transfer these rights. If you are employed, your employer must sign an agreement to transfer ownership of the intellectual property. In our experience, transfers are consistently resolved to everyone’s benefit
How long time will it take before I know who the winner is for a challenge?
This depends on the complexity of the challenge and it is important for the Innovative Company to be able to do a thorough analysis. The goal is that a winner will be awarded within two months after a dead line of a project.
How do I get the award if I am a winner?
The financial transaction is completed between the winner of the challenge and the company posting the challenge. Innovative Customer is there to assists and help so all parties gets a positive experience of our services.
How do I change my user data?
When you are a logged in user you can easily change your profile and user data by entering My Page and choosing “Edit Profile”, “Change my password” and “Change my Email”.
What does it cost to be an Innovative Customer?

How do a post a new challenge?
When you are a registered and logged in user you easily post a challenge from you workbench (the page you enter after logged in). After the challenge is post it is reviewed by www.innovativecustomer.com’s administrator and if there are no issues the challenge will be published after approval. This process is done to secure that only high quality challenges are posted in order to protect our creative members.
Can I change or cancel a challenge after it has been posted?
In order to protect the all the great people working on your challenge it is not allowed to change or cancel any challenge after it has been posted. Our creative members spend a lot of time and energy to be the winner for your challenge and it is important that everybody competes on the same rules from the start.
How do I view the proposed solutions to my challenge?
After the challenge is published the solution proposals starts popping up. You simply view the feedback and proposals in the challenge detail under the gallery tab.
How do I give feedback to proposed solutions to my challenges?
In the challenge details under the gallery tab you can select any proposal. When the proposal details are shown you can easily communicate with the creator of the proposal.
What does it cost to post a challenge?
The cost for posting a challenge depends on the complexity of the challenge. Please contact our sales team for more information.
How much should be the award for my challenge?
It is up to you to decide how much you want to set as award. The higher the amount is, the bigger interest you will get for your challenge. The best way is to decide the value of the challenge has for you and use that in the decision process to decide the award. We have a minimum award limit for a challenge and that is the value of 150 Euros.
How fast do I need to select a winner for a challenge after the challenge has ended?
The decision process of selecting the winning award is very important but the sooner you can close the challenge the better and our goal towards the Innovative Customers is maximum 2 months after the deadline of the challenge.
